What is the Oyster Bay Healing Centre all about?
We’re more than just a clinic—we’re a community lifeline. The Oyster Bay Healing Centre is here to provide essential healthcare services to our rural community, making sure that quality medical care is accessible and affordable for everyone. From treating everyday health concerns to offering emergency care and home visits, our goal is to keep our community healthy and thriving.
Where can I find you?
You can find us at Plot 576, Umzamowethu, Oyster Bay, 6301, South Africa. We’re right in the heart of the community, making it easier for you to get the care you need without traveling far.
When is the clinic open?
At the moment, we’re open every Wednesday from 9 AM to 12 PM, but we’re working hard to expand our hours soon. As we continue to grow, we’ll keep you posted on extended operating times.
Our Services
What kind of healthcare services do you provide?
We offer a variety of services to cover your health needs, including:
- General Check-ups: Whether it’s a common cold, an infection, or something more serious, our team is here to help.
- Emergency Care: If you have an urgent health issue, we can stabilize you before transferring you to a larger facility.
- Family Planning: We provide advice and products to help you take charge of your reproductive health.
- Screenings & Tests: From blood pressure checks to HIV and TB testing, we’ve got you covered.
- Wound Care: Got a cut, scrape, or something more serious? We’ll take care of it.
- Home Visits: For those who can’t make it to the clinic, our dedicated team comes to you.
Do you provide vaccinations?
Yes! We offer vaccinations for babies, kids, and adults. Our mobile clinic also makes rounds to ensure everyone in the community gets their shots on time.
Will there be a pharmacy at the clinic?
Yes! Once our licensing is finalized, our pharmacy will offer both prescription and over-the-counter medications at affordable prices.
How much does it cost to visit the clinic?
We keep our prices as low as possible. A general consultation costs R50 for adults and R25 for children, with affordable rates for tests like cholesterol and blood sugar screenings.
Appointments & Walk-Ins
Do I need to book an appointment?
Nope! Walk-ins are welcome during our clinic hours. However, for specialized services like wound care or screenings, booking in advance is a good idea to avoid waiting too long.

What community projects are you involved in?
